Welcome to Essex and Suffolk Children’s University

Established in 2011, Essex and Suffolk Children’s University is dedicated to providing enriching learning experiences for children across the region. Since 2024 Essex and Suffolk Children’s University is delivered in partnership with Unity Schools Partnership, a renowned family schools across East Anglia. We are dedicated to ensuring quality education for all young people. Our ambition is to unlock the potential of all children, remove the barriers that limit aspiration and ensure that all our children succeed.

Over the years, we've proudly engaged with over 10,000 children in Essex and Suffolk Collaborating with a diverse range of Learning Destination Partners, from grassroots community organisations to larger educational institutions, we offer a broad spectrum of learning opportunities throughout the region.

Our Schools Membership Programme collaborates with 60 schools across Essex and Suffolk serving the unique needs of our incredibly diverse counties.

Through strategic partnerships with leading educational institutions such as Anglia Ruskin University, University of Essex, University Centre South Essex, Suffolk One, and the University of Suffolk, we host multiple Children’s University Graduations annually. These ceremonies not only celebrate the remarkable achievements of our young learners but also serve as powerful catalysts for raising aspirations and awareness of higher education opportunities. Held in prestigious venues local to our Children’s University Membership Schools, these graduations inspire children to dream big, pursue their passions, and embark on a path of lifelong learning and success.
